On April 7, 2023, the Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony between các nhà cái uy tín siyanks.com - App game đổi thưởng uy tín (NTTU) and Korea Institute of Knowledge Service – (KIKS) took place to formalize a joint research projects on the development of medicinal plant production in Vietnam through smart farm systems, improvement of research and development capacity. The project also aims to expand the value chain of agricultural products through joint partnership, expansion of the agro-food value chain through close mutual exchange and Industry-Academia-Research Institute cooperation.

From NTTU, there was the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong, Vice President and faculties/ managers from relevant faculties, departments, and research centers (Department of Science and Technology, Department of International Relations, Faculty of Pharmacy, NTT Hi-tech Institute, Institute of Technology Application and Sustainable Development, Institute of Advanced Agricultural Biology Research and Development)

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong, NTTU Vice President hopes that this joint research project will open up other opportunities for both institutions

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong thanked Dr. Min Woo Han – President and Dr. Joon Hyeong Cho – Vice President of Korea Institute of Knowledge Service for proposing the joint research project with NTTU. To successfully implement this project, NTTU will also mobilize the research team to develop the project contents and tasks. Dr. Min Woo Han – President of KIKS highly appreciated the warm welcome from the University and hoped that in the future, KIKS and NTTU will work together to a successful implementation of the project.

Based on the similarity of training goals and developmental orientations, the two institutions discussed and agreed on the areas of cooperation and project plans. In particular, NTTU and KIKS will cooperate to promote the application of Smart Farm to develop digital agriculture in Vietnam; Expansion of the agro-food value chain through close mutual exchange and Industry-Academia-Research Institute cooperation; Investment of infrastructure and facilities for research and development of medicinal plant production in Vietnam using Vietnamese medicinal plants through bilateral cooperation to maximize the use of human resources of both sides, strengthening international cooperation relations in the fields of Agriculture-Food-Medicinal Plants to create benefits for both Korea and Vietnam through mutual exchange of natural and human resources.

In addition, other areas of cooperation include the followings:

  1. Cooperation to promote Smart Farm related research and the use of production facilities
  2. Cooperation for Smart Farm related information exchange, technical advice, and professional capacity training
  3. Cooperation for Smart Farm based medicinal plant production and dissemination of medicinal plant production technology
  4. Cooperation for the development and joint use of Vietnamese native medicinal plant resources
  5. Cooperation for R&D activity support for research, production, and industrialization of medicinal plants in Vietnam
  6. Cooperation in the development of high value-added agricultural, food, and medicinal plant products using Vietnamese native medicinal plants, marketing of agricultural food, and agricultural policy consulting support
  7. Cooperation for joint development of Korea-Vietnam agricultural industry through human resource exchange.

The MOU signing ceremony between NTTU and KIKS not only facilitates cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, but also enhances research capacity, technology transfer, and human resource development. It is expected that after signing the MOU, the two institutions will initiate network activities to implement the proposed ODA funded research project.
