Faculty of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics and Automotive Engineering sent students for a short course exchange in Japan

Receiving the invitation regarding the student exchange program – Sakura Science Exchange Program at Teikyo University from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Japan, the Faculty of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic and Automotive Engineering (FAME) sent Dr Pham Tuan Anh (Faculty dean) and 3 students including Nguyen Huynh Lam (Automotive Engineering major – NTT Institute of International Education), Nguyen Tran Trong Phuc (Automotive Engineering major – FAME) and Mai Ngoc Thach (Electrical & Electronics Engineering major – FAME) participating in this short course. 

Attending this short course, NTTU students joined the extracurricular activities such as research, data collection, power point presentation of the research findings, and field visits to industrial areas and major corporations of Japan. Also in this visit, the two institutions signed an MOU and decided to enhance collaborations in these aspects: 6 months short-term internship for students at Teikyo University; 3+1 and 2+2 cooperation model for academic programs of faculties.

Students of FAME were supported in skills training and practicing

In fact, the entire expenses of the program, as well as visa fee were paid by the partner institutions– Teikyo University and Ministry of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Japan

Apart from Japan, for many years, NTTU has signed collaborative agreements with many educational institutions, international universities from China, Israel, Malaysia, and etc. in order to send students for the internship programs and job placement. The overseas internship programs are a new direction in not only helping students experience international education environment, but also providing domestic and international employment opportunities, enhancement of language proficiency, professional knowledge and sociocultural understanding.

 

 

Apart from Japan, NTTU students also attended lectures in other countries.
